The Intelligence Area  of Telefónica devices optimizes the ROI from the acquisition of terminals that automatically determine which terminal is best suited for a particular segment and it has chose the predictive technology of  Apara´s company

Telefónica has optimized the purchase of the terminals of all the manufacturers thanks to the predictive technology dVelox Enterprise of Apara. This platform enables Telefónica to predictive automatically and determine which terminal is best suited for a particular segment in order to increase consumption, improving the profitability of the company.

dVelox Enterprise can also identify those terminals that are not attractive or do not increase the consumption and purchase set priorities and allocation of terminals per segment. This work has provided the Spanish operator to maximize the income of postpaid customers easily and accurately.

Hugo Crego, Head of the Mobile Intelligence at Telefónica, comments the facility of use and precision of the tool: "We needed something oriented to decisions rather than the data or algorithms needed to work. dVelox Enterprise provides higher levels of precision, high capacity of calculation, zero complexity and total adaptability. We had the first predictive models in a few days".

With the implementation of dVelox Enterprise, Telefónica has increased its efficiency by 18% in the decisions taken. In addition, increased its return on investment between 12 and 14% on the purchase of terminals and has reduced the time to get results, obtaining value responses in the first two weeks.

Apara´s predictive tool is able to anticipate new scenarios and predict future situations  like knowing the most effective terminal to retain a customer up to 83% accuracy. With all this, the Spanish operator has been able to reduce by more than 50% the effort to implement and maintain the predictive ability of Intelligence Terminal area.

" Thus, Telefónica can improve their decisions in managing its portfolio of handsets.
